The butterfly logo signifies change. Clients come for counselling for various reasons, but mainly because either some change has taken place in their lives or because they wish to make some change in their lives. This may be perceived by the client as a crisis.

Counselling is a purposeful shared activity, aiming to help clients help themselves. Counselling helps the client to talk about, explore and understand the motives behind thoughts and feelings, and work out strategies before taking action. My role as a counsellor is to walk the journey with the client and try to facilitate the changes necessary for the client to move on and lead a happy, purposeful life and overcome the present crisis in their lives. I aim to provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental setting for clients to explore the options, choices and realistic goals which are open to them.
